Medadvisor is dedicated to supporting Australian pharmacies in delivering a broader range of healthcare services through the Expanding Scope of Practice initiative.

We are working closely with QLD Health, the PSA and the PGA QLD to empower pharmacies with the tools and resources needed for full scope of practice. Medadvisor has prescribing software ready for QLD accredited full scope pharmacists and will issue a Prescriber Number so you can obtain an eRx ID for the purpose of private electronic prescriptions created by eRx.

Medadvisor has supported full scope of practice since the inception of the acute and chronic pilots. This software is integrated with eRx for the creation of electronic prescriptions that will appear on the patient's ASL. QLD Health updates Medadvisor on which pharmacies have been approved for prescribing in QLD, including those in the Chronic Pilot.

Consult Pro is an Add-On to the existing MedAdvisor Core subscription. Only pharmacies that currently have the MedAdvisor Core subscription can request the Consult Pro Add-On.

It enables additional capabilities in your MedAdvisor for Pharmacy software allowing your pharmacy to:

Record clinical notes
Attach documents and images
Prescribe and create an ePrescription connected to eRx/mySL
Create secure two-way communication with other clinicians
